1. Information We Collect

Account information you provide: gamertag, email, region, and platform handles.

Gameplay data: matches, scores, VG Score, achievements, and activity on the platform.

Technical data: basic device and usage information needed to run and secure the service.

Sign-in records: each time you sign in we record your IP address, your device type, operating system and browser, and the approximate location and network operator that IP address belongs to. This comes from the connection itself, not from anything you enter.

Tournament waitlist: if you ask us to email you about tournaments without creating an account, we store that email address and nothing else about you. It is used only to send you a message when a tournament opens for entry. Every one of those emails carries a one-click unsubscribe link that needs no account and no password, and unsubscribing stops them permanently.

2. How We Use Your Information

To operate the platform: run matches, calculate rankings, and resolve disputes.

To communicate with you about your account, matches, and important updates.

To protect the platform against fraud, cheating, and abuse. Sign-in records are used for this purpose: to detect one person running several accounts, to spot a banned player returning under a new name, and to confirm where an account is being used from when a result is challenged. We do not use them to build a profile of you or to target advertising.

3. Sharing of Information

Your gamertag, region, VG Score, and match record are visible to other players as part of leaderboards and profiles.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with service providers only as needed to run vantaGG.

4. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to maintain the integrity of rankings and records, or as required by law.

Sign-in records are an exception and are kept for 90 days, after which they are deleted automatically every night. Ninety days is long enough to recognise a banned account returning, and short enough that we are not holding a long history of where you have been.

If you delete your account, your sign-in records are deleted with it.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to legal and platform-integrity limits.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “last updated” date when we do.
